"FAT" ASPEN PADS |
Fat cooler pads are thicker then regular aspen pads and can improve cooling by up to seven degrees. They are hand packed 2 inches thick, the corners are squared and the netting is stapled together firmly shut. At the end of season when you're done with the cooler pads and you want to throw them away or change them out, they will come out in one piece, instead of falling apart. Fat cooler pads won't fall apart during the year in the water of your cooler and clog your pump, burning up your pump. |

Modern evaporative cooler pads are made from corrugated cellulose sheets treated with anti-rot agents and provide superior cooling power due to their unique design. These swamp cooler pads are easy to clean and will last for many years with proper yearly maintenence. These pads are used in several newer style cooler brands such as Mastercool, Aerocool, and Ultracool. They are also used in agricultural buildings like green houses and animal enclosures. |

Mobile Mastercool units use pads that are more tightly woven then the larger evaporative cooler units. These pads provide cooler air from a more compact pad. They should be replaced every 3-5 years or more often in areas with hard water. |
